Practical information
Getting There Liddes is 1346 meters above sea level. From the bus station in our small hamlet below Liddes you need just 5 minutes on foot. If you have luggage, we will be happy to pick you up by car.
Liddes is connected to Martigny several times a day by public transport.
From Geneva airport you have every 30 minutes a train to Martigny. From Martigny you take a train to Orsières and then a bus to Liddes.

Liddes currently has 2 local restaurants.
Shops
There are two grocery stores in Liddes. One shop is open on Sunday mornings.
Indoor swimming pool
There is an indoor swimming pool in Bourg St. Pierre. The water is heated to 29 degrees Celsius. With the St. Bernhard Pass you can use the indoor pool for free.
Sauna There is a small sauna in the building. The Hotel Napoleon in Bourg St Pierre has a larger sauna facility with a sauna, Turkish bath and a beautifully designed relaxation zone. The entrance fee is 20 francs.
We regularly go to the bigger Thermal baths down in the valley.
SAC Huts There are two SAC huts in the municipality of Liddes:
Caban de Mille (2500 meters above sea level)
Caban Combe de l'A (2400 meters above sea level)
Ski Area The
Liddes-Vichères ski area is 5 minutes by car from our group home and has 4 lifts. It is particularly suitable for "powdering". The season pass, which includes two additional ski areas, costs only 80 Euro (if you tell us 2 - 3 weeks before your arrival and we buy it as a group ticket - otherwise it costs 150 Euro).
