Onboarding: Liddes

How to get here?
Liddes is connected to Martigny several times a day by public transport. From Geneva airport you have every 30 minutes a train to Martigny. From Martigny you take a train to Orsières and then a bus to Liddes.

If you come from Aosta Italy, there is 1 bus max once a day. The Martigny-Aosta bus line resumes service starting from December 1.
The bus will operate from Monday to Friday (including holidays), departing from Martigny at 8:30 AM and arriving in Aosta at 10:20 AM. The return journey from Aosta will be at 4:15 PM, arriving in Martigny at 6:05 PM. The regular fare is CHF 66 for a round trip.


Use 'Liddes' when you type in your destination point in the travel website www.sbb.ch
IMPORTANT: When you type in Liddes, select the one where it only says Liddes, nothing before or after that word.

You will recognise that you are at the right stop as you come into Liddes, past the fuel station Tamoil and stop next to the tourist office and the Raifeissen ATM.

Sleeping arrangements:
Liddes has three 4-bed rooms, two 6-bed rooms, two 8-bed rooms shared shower rooms. Depending on the seaon you will be sharing a room with other volunteers or have a room for your own.
What we provide:
  • Accommodation in dormitory rooms
  • 3 meals per day
  • Wifi
  • Opportunities to join excursions
  • Ski pass in the winter
  • Skies, snowboards and boots (Clients go first, If you want to be sure of material to go up the mountain it will be recommended to bring your own. Especially boots.)

How to get here?
Bourg St. Pierre is connected to Martigny several times a day by public transport. The bus station is 210 meters from the hostel / coliving.

Use 'Bourg-St-Pierre, Commune' when you type in your destination point in the travel website www.sbb.ch
There you can buy your ticket and get all the route information.

You will recognise that you are at the right stop when the bus goes backwards to park. It is at the entrance of the village centre.
Sleeping arrangements
Our Coliving space in Bourg St Pierre with 7 rooms and a total of 24 beds. Depending on the season you will be sharing a room with other volunteers or have a room for your own.

Onboarding: Braunwald
Everything you need to know about your arrival and stay at Adrenalin
Things you have to do before your arrival:

How to get here?
From Zurich main train station you need to take the train to Linthal.
In Linthal you will get out of the train and walk 2 min to the funicular 'Braunwaldbahn'. Here you take the train up to Braunwald.

Be aware that this last Braunwaldbahn only goes 1x in the hour after 9pm. And in week days stops after midnight till 5 am.

Use 'Braunwald' when you type in your destination point in the travel website www.sbb.ch

Once you are in Braunwald follow the orange signs saying Adrenalin.

  • Braunwald has 29 rooms with a total of 85 beds. Depending on the seaon you will be sharing a room with other volunteers or have a room for your own.

  • Skies, snowboards and boots (But clients will go first in high season. If you want to be sure of material to go up the mountain it will be recommended to bring your own. Especially boots.)

Are there any stores or restaurants around?
Braunwald has countless restaurants. From traditional Swiss to star cuisine. Next to the Adrenalin there is a village store with everything you need for a delicious meal for our self-cooking kitchen.
Two sports stores are located at the top station Braunwald.

I want to stay longer, is this possible?
There are definitely possibilities, contact Stefan or Philipp for more information. We need to know well in advance to make sure there is availability.
I want to cancel or shorten my stay, can I do this?
We reserved a place for you and declined others for your spot. Please be considering an agreement before you say yes to us.
How is the Wifi?
Our wifi is in general places between 50 and 100 mbps.
How do we communicate?
  • Whatsapp group for general communication
  • Slack groups for work communication
What are my working hours?
Working hours are mostly flexible, they depend on your job and whether the task is urgent or requires coordination with other team members. Individual tasks can be performed whenever you like. Sounds good right?
Who cleans my room and the general area?
It is your responsibility to clean your bedroom yourself or to share responsibilities with other volunteers. The common rooms are cleaned according to a schedule.
